Plans and subscription
Team plans and their limits (members, series, storage), the 30-day trial, buying and cancelling a plan, what happens when it expires, and who can see the subscription page.
Updated:
A subscription belongs to the team, not to a person: every team has its own plan. The plan decides how many members and series the team can have and how much storage it gets.
Where to find it
Management → Subscriptions. The page is called Subscription Management. To see all plans side by side, go to the Plans page with View All Plans or Choose Package.

The Subscription Management page
The Current Subscription card shows your plan's name, the Start and End dates, the Time Left and the Amount Paid. Plans without an end date show ∞ instead of a date.

The Usage Limits card shows current usage and the upper limit for each item: Users, Series, Storage. Items without a limit say Unlimited.

Each plan's limits and price are shown on its card on the Plans page.
Trial
- The first team you create starts with a 30-day free trial. During the trial the team has the same limits as the Professional plan.
- The Your trial is active card at the top of Subscription Management shows the days left.
- Teams you create later get no trial; they start directly on the free plan.
- When the trial ends, the team moves to the free plan on its own.
Buying a plan
- On the Plans page, press Select on the plan you want.
- In the Purchase window, pick a Payment Method; the Monthly Total is shown.
- Press Purchase. You are taken to the payment page; complete the payment there.
Paid plans are monthly and renew automatically. The free plan is activated with Start Free, without payment. Prices may be shown in a different currency depending on the country you connect from.
If the Plans page says "The payment system is not active yet.", purchases are not possible at the moment; contact us.
Cancelling and auto-renew
- With an auto-renewing subscription, the Current Subscription card has a Cancel Auto-renew button. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and then does not renew. The card shows the end date ("Auto-renew is off — your access ends on …").
- If you change your mind, press Resume Auto-renew before the period ends.
- A subscription that does not auto-renew has Change Plan and Cancel buttons on the card. When you cancel, it stays active until it expires but does not renew. Moving to a paid plan always requires payment and takes you to the Plans page.
What happens when it expires
- When your paid plan or your trial ends, the team moves to the free plan. Your data is not deleted and the team is not closed.
- The move to the free plan is done by an hourly check after the end date; in between, the team may be read-only for a short while ("Your subscription has expired. You are in read-only mode.").
- The free plan has lower limits. If your team is above a limit, existing members and series stay where they are, but no new member can join and no new series can be opened until you are back under the limit. If storage is full, new files cannot be uploaded.
- The team owner is warned 7 days and 1 day before the end date (not for auto-renewing subscriptions). The owner is also notified when it expires.
- When 7 days or fewer are left, a warning banner appears on the Dashboard.
Who can do this
- The Subscriptions pages open for people with the Manage Fansub permission: the team owner and Fansub Admins. Other members don't see the link in the menu; the Dashboard warning tells them "Your team manager can renew the subscription."
- Buying a plan, changing it and cancelling it is open only to the team owner.
Good to know
- The sample series does not count against the series limit.
- The team owner is warned when storage reaches 80% and 95%.
- If the team's member limit is reached, a new person cannot join through an invitation.
