Team Assignments

Team Assignments shows all of your team's series and members together: assign members to series, spot gaps and track member workload. You can also assign people from a single series' own page (see Step assignments); this screen is for looking at all of them at once.

Where to find it

In the left menu, under Management, open Team Assignments. The page has three tabs: Overview, By Series and By Member.

Overview

The cards at the top: Series, Members, Missing Assignments, Fully Staffed, Idle Members, Inactive Members.

• The Staffing Gaps list tells you how many series are waiting for someone on each step. Click a row and the By Series tab opens showing only series missing that step (Showing series missing: …, use Clear to remove it).
• Idle Members: members not assigned to any series yet.
• Inactive Members: members who are assigned but have finished no work in 30 days.

By Series: making assignments

Each row is a series and each column a step. A step that is not part of the series' workflow shows —; the Status column at the end of the row says … missing or Full.

1. Narrow the list with Search series..., Filter by member..., Status and Only Missing. Status defaults to Active & On Hold: completed series are hidden; choose All or Completed to see them.
2. Click the + button in an empty cell (Click to assign) and pick the member in the Assign member box. The assignment is saved right away.
3. Clicking a filled cell lists the people assigned to that step. The cross next to someone removes the assignment (it asks for confirmation: Remove assignment); the picker at the bottom adds another person to the same step.

Only series with a workflow selected are listed.

By Member

For each member: Roles, Series (number of series assigned), Pending, Done (30d), Last Activity and Status (Active, Idle, Inactive). Use it to see who you can give work to, or who is stuck.

Who can do this

• Opening the page: the team owner, Fansub Yöneticisi (admin), Fansub Görevlisi (staff) and anyone with Assign Series Roles (webtoon.assign_roles). The menu link depends on this permission.
• Assigning and removing from the cells requires Assign Series Roles; without it, empty cells only show a warning icon.

Good to know

• An assignment decides who can work on a step; badge roles (translator, typesetter…) grant nothing by themselves.
• If you want a volunteer from within the team for an empty step, post a call on Looking for People. The old Recruiting tab was removed from this screen; old links redirect to Looking for People.
