Team Board

See what is happening in your team in one feed (steps, chapters, chat, revisions, membership); bottleneck, waiting work and per-person output metrics for managers.

Updated:

The Team Board answers two questions: Activity "what is happening where in the team?" and Metrics "how is the work going?".

Where to find it

In the left menu, under Management, open Team Board. The number next to it counts the events added to the feed since your last visit (your own actions are not counted).

Activity

What happens in the team is listed in time order: completed, skipped or reset steps, created and completed chapters, added series, chat messages, revisions, line comments, membership events and announcements. Events are grouped under Today, Yesterday and date headings; those that arrived after your last visit sit above the Since your last visit divider. Load older ones with Load more at the bottom.

Team Board: the Activity tab and its filters

To filter:

  • Category: All, Workflow, Chapters, Chat, Revision, Team.
  • Pick a series in the All series box on the right; clear it with the cross.

The feed only shows the series and chats you can see. The owner, admins and staff see every series; other members see the series they are assigned to. Chat events appear for people who can see that chat room. Private messages never appear in the feed. Team-wide events (membership, announcements) are visible to everyone.

Metrics

The second tab, visible only to authorized people:

  • Steps completed, Steps in progress, Chapters this month, Late chapters summaries,
  • Bottleneck: average time of completed steps, longest first,
  • Waiting now: open steps and how long the oldest has waited,
  • Output per person: by who produced the step output, not who was assigned,
  • Monthly output: chapters completed in the last 6 months,
  • Late chapters.

Team Board: the Metrics tab

If the team has not completed a few steps yet, it says Nothing to measure yet.

Who can see it

  • Activity: every team member (scope as described above).
  • Metrics: the team owner, Fansub Yöneticisi (admin), Fansub Görevlisi (staff) and anyone with Manage Fansub (fansub.manage). For other members the tab does not appear at all.

Good to know

  • The feed keeps no records of its own; it is compiled from the step, chat, revision and audit records that are already written.
  • People appear in the feed by username.
