Series fonts
Upload typesetting fonts to a series, add fonts from the Team Center, usage types, download everything as a ZIP, and who can download.

Every series has its own Fonts list: which typeface is used for speech bubbles, SFX, titles and so on. The typesetter previews and downloads fonts here, so everyone works with the same ones.
The team's shared font library, used across all series, is separate and lives in the Team Center. Adding a font from there to a series copies the file into the series.
Where to find it
On the series page press Manage on the Fonts card (if you can only view, the button is called View all). The card shows the first five fonts with their usage; each has a Download button, and the header has a Download All (ZIP) icon.
The fonts page
Fonts are grouped by usage: Speech Bubble, Thought Bubble, Shout / Emphasis, SFX / Effect, Narration Box, Title, Other. Each card shows the font's name, file name and size, a preview with sample text and the notes. Fonts that came from the Team Center carry a Team Center label.
- Download All (ZIP): downloads all of the series' fonts in one file.
- The download icon on a card downloads that font; the pencil edits, the trash can deletes.
Uploading a font
- Press Add Font.
- Choose a Font File: TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2, up to 10 MB.
- Enter a Font Name and choose a Usage. If you choose Other, a Custom Label (e.g. Footnote) is required.
- Optionally add Notes and press Upload.
The same file is never added to a series twice: if a font with the same content already exists, you see "This font is already added to this series". Editing changes the name, usage and notes; the file stays the same.
Adding from the Team Center
- Press Add from Team Center.
- Find the font with the search box and category buttons. You can change the preview text and size.
- Tick the fonts you want (Select visible selects them all) and press Add to Series.
- Fonts already in the series say Already in this series; fonts whose file is missing are marked File not found and cannot be selected.
- Selected fonts are copied into the series and count toward the team storage quota.
- If the Team Center has no fonts yet, the window points you there with Open Team Center.
Who can do this
- Adding, editing and deleting fonts: people assigned in this series, plus the team owner, Fansub Admin and Fansub Moderator.
- Viewing and downloading: while the team setting All team members can download fonts is on, every team member can see and download every series' fonts (desktop tool included). The setting is on by default. When it is off, only people assigned in the series and the team owner, admins and moderators can download; other members see the note "Only members assigned to this series can download its fonts" on the series page.
